Welcome to Patrick Nied Photography!

I am a Wedding and Portrait Photographer located in Seattle. Husband to a beautiful wife, and father to the world's cutest 2 year old boy. I've lived in Seattle for the past 10 years and love everything about this area. If we're not strolling around Greenlake or enjoying the sunset at Golden Gardens, we're probably hunkered down at our favorite Fremont Coffee shop. I love being a Wedding photographer, especially in the amazing scenery we have at our fingertips here in Seattle. Whether you're planning for rustic chic at a Woodinville winery, contemporary urban on a downtown sky rise rooftop, or DIY in the Cascades, let me document this once in a lifetime occasion for you and your family! - Patrick

Pike Place Market Wedding | Lynnette + Alan | Seattle Wedding Photographer

January 16th, 2016

Lynnette and Alan rolled the dice and won. Not only because they found each other, but because they planned a January Wedding in Seattle that did not get rained out.

I first worked with the couple during their engagement session and found them to be so easy to photograph. Alan is the perfect gentleman, and Lynnette fell into any pose so naturally. I looked forward to this wedding for months, excited at the opportunity to work with them again.

The day began at the Westin downtown where the bride, groom and entire bridal party dressed and got ready for the big day. With a perfectly planned timeline I felt absolutely no stress from the couple as we worked towards our first look.

Pikes Place Market was busy as ever and the entire party wound through the brick and cobblestone alleys while I photographed the day. The best part of the shoot for me was when the entire crowd at the market let out cheers and applause when the couple kissed during the picture seen below.

The ceremony was held at Our Lady of the Lake Church, which was as a grand a location as I have ever seen. Red brick, dark wood, and copper finishes made this a breathtaking venue for saying "I Do." After the ceremony the couple let me steal them for a few minutes to get some really incredible pictures up at the altar.

The day ended at 415 Westlake where the couple, bridal party, friends and family ate and danced the night away, in what was one of the craziest reception parties I've been a part of. I feel so fortunate to have captured this celebration and wish them both a happy future!
