Olympia Beach Wedding | Pudget Sound Wedding Photographer | Hana + Josh - Patrick Nied Photography

Welcome to Patrick Nied Photography!

I am a Wedding and Portrait Photographer located in Seattle. Husband to a beautiful wife, and father to the world's cutest 2 year old boy. I've lived in Seattle for the past 10 years and love everything about this area. If we're not strolling around Greenlake or enjoying the sunset at Golden Gardens, we're probably hunkered down at our favorite Fremont Coffee shop. I love being a Wedding photographer, especially in the amazing scenery we have at our fingertips here in Seattle. Whether you're planning for rustic chic at a Woodinville winery, contemporary urban on a downtown sky rise rooftop, or DIY in the Cascades, let me document this once in a lifetime occasion for you and your family! - Patrick

Olympia Beach Wedding | Pudget Sound Wedding Photographer | Hana + Josh

August 15th, 2015

When Hana and Josh approached me to shoot their big day, the first thing they told me was that this would be more of a beach party with a Wedding attached! They were not wrong! This event was filled with friends, family, boats, music, laughter, and dancing. Above all, it was a group of people who loved to have fun! Just outside of Olympia, Washington, the entire day took place on the beach side residence of a close family friend.

I think Hana and Josh's entire relationship can be summed up by the fact that the first thing they did on their Wedding day was play a game of Cribbage over some beers on the beach. A couple taking a moment like that on the busiest day of their lives shows the commitment they have to their relationship.

When it came time for the ceremony the couple and the crowd gathered excitedly around the alter. The view from this backyard event was incredible. Unfortunately Mt. Rainer remained hidden behind the clouds, but at least it remained very cool and comfortable for the guests.

After the ceremony, Hana and Josh let me drag them up into this beautiful patch of woods just up the road from the house. I immediately spotted this area for romantic pictures, giving a different feel to the portfolio away from the beach theme.

Once picture time was over, party time began on the beach. Food, family, and fun nicely sums up the reception experience for everyone. Thanks so much Hana and Josh for making me part of your day!

I had a great time photographing their Wedding and I'm excited to share these photos with everyone!
